Regional Support Services (East Midlands)

Fit as a Fiddle EM Regional Portfolio Co-ordinator

£26,523 pro-rata
21 hrs pw, fixed term contract until September 2012
£15,914 for 21 hours.

Funded by the Big Lottery Fund and based in Nottingham, you will support a dynamic set of projects to benefit the physical and mental wellbeing of older people by encouraging participation in physical activity and healthier eating. You will co-ordinate, evaluate, support and liaise with participating Age Concerns to secure the successful outcomes of the ‘Fit as a Fiddle’ portfolio in the East Midlands. You will maintain and manage partnerships across the region and work closely with project partners to ensure that the project outcomes are delivered in which you will regularly report on. You will have strong Administration and People Skills ideally with experience of project management and delivery, of working in partnership with voluntary and statutory health delivery agencies. Access to appropriate transport will be required for some travel across the Region.
